xiao chai hu (Heparex Extract)

Used for symptoms such as alternate fever and chills, fullness and choking feeling in the chest and hypochondriac discomfort, bitterness in the mouth, dry throat, dizziness, loss of appetite, may tend to vomit. Xiao Chai Hu Tang (Minor Bupleurum Decoction) in TCM is primarily used to harmonize Shao Yang Stage disorders and tonify the Middle Jiao. Actions: Relieving exterior syndromes and reducing fever, mediating the shao-yang (minor yang) channel, and harmonizing the liver and stomach-spleen.

Indications: Used for symptoms such as alternate fever and chills, fullness and choking feeling in the chest and hypochondriac discomfort, bitterness in the mouth, dry throat, dizziness, loss of appetite, may tend to vomit.

It is applicable to common cold, influenza, chronic hepatitis, acute or chronic cholecystitis, pleuritis, pyelo-nephritis, postpartum infection, gastric ulcer and other diseases, which manifest the above symptoms and pertain to febrile disease in shaoyang meridian.*

Directions: Take 8 pills each time, 3 times a day.

小柴胡汤出自《伤寒论》，是张仲景根据邪犯少阳，致少阳枢机不利而设，历来被认为是“和法”的代表方。
