2024 Ranke Chinese University Rankings Released

Ruanke, a professional evaluation agency for higher education, released the "2024 Ruanke Chinese University Rankings" on April 18. The "2024 Ruanke China University Rankings" targets more than 1,000 undergraduate-level universities in China. In order to properly reflect the differences in the nature and type of universities and ensure the fairness of the rankings, Ruanke divides universities into comprehensive universities, Seven categories of single-subject universities and four categories of non-public universities are ranked separately using differentiated index systems.

594 universities are on the list of comprehensive university rankings. Tsinghua University, Peking University, and Zhejiang University continue to be the top three, and Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Fudan University are among the top five in the country. Other universities in the top ten in the country are Nanjing University (sixth), University of Science and Technology of China (seventh), Huazhong University of Science and Technology (eighth), Wuhan University (ninth), and Xi'an Jiaotong University (tenth).

Among the top 100 universities, 90 are "double first-class" universities. Among them, the "double first-class" universities that entered the top 100 for the first time this year are Nanjing Forestry University (93rd) and Guizhou University (95th). 10 non-"double first-class" universities are among the top 100, including Zhejiang University of Technology (64th), Shenzhen University (72nd), Jiangsu University (80th), Yangzhou University (82nd), and Fujian Normal University (87th) Ranked in the top five.

2024软科中国大学排名（主榜）上榜高校共有594所
